What was the highlight of HideAway Dive Hostel

Far away from airport!! Not good value for money

The staff were very friendly and helpful!! I guess if you come here for diving it could be a really cool place as its close to the small local beach, the breakfast is included and they even have a basketball net :) The breakfast was very good, too. I got two pieces of toast, two fried eggs and one banana.

There are no busses here, if you come from the airport you'll have to take a taxi or if you know your way around you can take a combination of motorbike, bus, two different jeepneys and then again motorbike... I only came here for one night to sleep after arriving at the airport late but unless you want to dive I don't recommend this place as its far away from everything. It's also bad value for money I think.. I had to pay over 600 pesos (10€) for this place but the beds are basic, the location is very remote and the bathroom is outside, very small and half open so there are insects.

What was the highlight of HideAway Dive Hostel

Good if you want to be away from everything. amazing little hostel but too far away for us

The room was very comfy and had air con. Breakfast was nice, eggs, toast and fruit, coffee or tea. The staff was very nice and helpful, they book tours for you, give you good directions about where everything is, and taxi's for you if needed.

The surroundings of the hostel are not nice, there's only one restaurant 15 min walk away from the property and is very expensive. The public beach which is only a 10 minute walk away was very dirty, lots of plastic floating in the water and on the beach. Also there are no real shops close by, so if you need anything you need to walk for some distance or take a tricycle.

Hideaway was perfection!

Hideaway was perfection! Dave the manager and the staff were absolutely fantastic - so friendly and helpful with organising my diving training. Felt so welcome and everyone who visited the hostel said the same thing. Close to the airport and in a peaceful and tranquil area. Perfect for those who want a bit of downtime

Really friendly staff, they helped me to arrange my trips, helped with all questions. Bed was nice and soft. Room is only for two people and I had it for myself. Quite place.

Location is a bit far from everything, with room is outside of the room, food was so so.

We would highly recommend you to stay in Hide Away Dive Hostel!

Everything is nice and clean. The staff are all really kind and willing to help! The location is not really hard to find. Just believe the GPS! There are puppies in the hostel. You won’t want to miss the chance If you like dogs and cats! Very quiet but lovely place!

Meh

Pretty good breakfast. Very nice bunk bed with great linens. Checkout was easy.

Out in the middle of nowhere and not very many guests. The public beach nearby isn't worth much of anything. It would have been nice to have a big jug of drinking water. The form you sign to stay there includes your permission to use you for marketing purposes. I refused to sign it, but it's a plus that the staff didn't force me to.

Diving and snorkeling offers. The food is amazingly healthy and tasty if you want a break from local food. It’s clean

I feel like nobody really know what to do and how. This place is still growing so it might take time. Didn’t like the location, really hidden and you can go anywhere at night. The public beach is dirty and full of people bothering you

Very nice and helpful staff! Since we had to wake up very early and we would miss bfast the staff offered us to serve it at 5 am! Was a big gesture! We are very thankfulxx

Bed was comfortable and clean Staff was helpful and helped us out to find a taxi to the airport

By the time we were new rooms were under construction Dinner was a bit expensive for the portions we got Hard to find a taxi/grab from there to the airport
